Carlos Gayoso

Carlos Gayoso, Peruvian-French photojournalist born in Lima. Carlos is renowned for his countless images of personalities and events of the 20th century. After studying psychology in Rome, he went to London to study photography at the Paddington Institute of London (1975-1978).
 
He studied to become a professional cameraman in the CPJ (Centre of Formation of the professional Journalist) (1989), later he formed in the Creation and the Organization of the Production in INA in Paris (déc.1997).
 
At the end of 1979, Carlos moved to Paris and started to work as a freelance photographer for France-Soir newspaper (1980-2003). The journal published hundreds of his pictures about  twenty being on its prestigious first page cover "La une de France-Soir ".
 
Among his subjects were Mere Teresa of Calcutta, François Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, M. Raul Castro président de la République de Cuba ( janvier, 2016), Mme.Angela Merkel ( juillet 2015 ), the queen Elizabeth II (2014), Vladimir Poutine ( 2014), Ettore Scola, , Andrei Sakharov, Lech Walesa, Jean Dausset (Nobel Médecine 1980), Yasser Arafat, Carlos Fuentes, Fernando Botero, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Fernando de Szyszlo, Diego Mardona, Romy Schneider (1982), Simone Signoret, Jeanne Moreau, Brigitte Bardot, Louis de Funes,  Ornella Muti, Peter Ustinov, Roger Vadim, Bani Sadr (exclusive for Epoca), Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Charles Bronson....

He covered Princess Grace of Monaco funeral (exclusif for Gente, sept. 1982 ).Freelance for Axel Springer germany press group. Architecture photography for advertising brochures for Saint-Gobain Vitrage of France (1990-2000), portraits and reportages for an International Press Group (1983-1993) in the Medical sector ( Abtract and The Journal International de Médicine). 1995: Journaliste Reporter of Images for TF1 and France 3 Television...
